Bravo Two Zero is a superb document of a military debacle. I thought well, why not, if I don’t read them I’ve made room for some more, if I read them then I’ve started reading again!!!

My reason for giving this book a five star rating is not because of the skill of the author. Any will that be enough to stop people accusing him of jumping on the highly profitable Bravo Two Zero bandwagon? Which villain would come out on top? The Real Bravo Two Zero: They were British Special Forces, trained to be the best. A very in depth account of what happened at the start of the war in the east I’m half way through the book now and totally immersed ,it’s not an easy read but you really get a feel for what it must have been like to get captured by foriegn troops willing to behead westeners!!!
